Meet my daughter Sonya. She is walking barefoot along the Isle...
My family, friends place the Isles on their way at home and walk on the "fruit" surface barefoot (or in socks) like the inhabitants of wild tropical islands. That's why all the art rugs I made are called Barefoot Isles.
The central elements of the Islet are sculptural hand-made gypseous miniatures. Positive color accents of the "fruit" may help to maintain a positive familial environment.
The surface of the "pebbles" is smooth. That's why these miniatures encourage bare feet to touch the hilly surface and snuggle into the rug. Many people describe the sensation of stepping on the rugs like a foot massage. What’s important to note is that, going barefoot on "pebbles" isn’t just a momentary pleasure. The relief surface of a special shape with an expressed level difference is also healthy for all family members: children, parents and grandparents. You've probably heard that the barefoot primitive islanders have healthy legs and their bodies are nimble. Maybe it's time to get back to the roots? Read the findings of the researchers on this subject in the article "Why do modern people need a new standard of a walking surface at home?"
A new Idea for floor decorating
Look at the Fruit Islet as a great way to enhance the decor of your home. Each miniature on the rug is painted by hand and covered with non toxic waterborne finish. Each one is unique.
The room Isles can be ordered in two sizes: large and small. The size of the large isle: 85 x 47 cm ~ 33 15/32 x 18 1/2 in; the size of the small isle: 47x47 cm ~ 18 1/2 x 18 1/2 in. Weight: 3.3 kg ~ 7.3 lb or 1.7 kg ~ 3.8 lb. Materials: natural burlap or linen fabric, gypsum, non toxic paints, non toxic waterborne finish.
You can group any number of large and small isles to create an incredible walking area. The Isles can be the centerpiece of your room or you can use them to compliment the rest of the home decor.
The Isles also are adapted for hanging on a wall.
Do not forget to turn on the sound! :)
